Take in nearly the entire length of the Wolf Creek Canyon on this 16-mile trip. Follow the twists and turns of the Missouri River on its final journey through the canyons before spilling out into the prairie.

The Prairie Mountain Float

Can't decide between a majestic canyon float, or the serenity of the Missouri River prairie? Why not do both. This journey begins in the lower Wolf Creek Canyon, where the river cuts a path through deep cliffs before joining the Great Plains. At the transition, experience some exciting, but mild whitewater waves and some swift water flows. Once out on the prairie, the river slows down, widens, and becomes more relaxed. Wildlife continues to be abundant, but not people! Total float distance for this trip is approximately 12-miles.
