
Scenic Kayak Adventures
Pilot your own vessel through the majesty of Montana rivers with our kayak adventures. The guide will let you experience the river at your own pace and give you space; but is always close enough to keep you informed and safe. You'll receive detailed instruction on kayak piloting before your journey and your route difficulty will match your skill and comfort level. Trips include a free vehicle shuttle, so your vehicle is waiting for you at your destination, as well as life jackets, rain gear if needed, and dry bags for your personal items. Choose half-day, full-day, or custom excursions. A tasty riverside meal option is also available, and we provide complimentary water and assorted non-alcoholic beverages. Trips are recommended only for guests who are physically fit and are not for children under 14 years of age.

1/2 Day Wolf Creek Canyon of the Missouri River

Kayak along the beautiful lower section of the Wolf Creek Canyon of the Missouri River. Your approximate 3-hour journey (excluding stops) will witness incredible rock formations, beautiful and steep cliffs rising up from the river, cool, clear waters, and a variety of wildlife. Float distance is approximately 8.7 miles.

Traverse nearly the entire Wolf Creek Canyon section of the Missouri River on this approximate 6-hour journey (excluding stops). You'll paddle through stunning canyons, rugged terrain, and clear waters home to nearly 6,000 fish per river mile! Float distance is approximately 16 miles.

Experience the Missouri River as it spills out from the foothills of the Rockies onto the mighty and seemingly endless Great Plains. Here the river undergoes a transition in character, and becomes gentle, wide, quiet, and peaceful. You won't find many people in this section of the river, but you're still likely to see ample wildlife. This float covers about 9.5 miles.

Full Day Missouri River Prairie Adventure

For those die-hard river enthusiasts who want to experience the Missouri as Lewis and Clark did, this is the journey for you! Paddle along 16 easy miles of unspoiled wilderness where the only life you'll see is likely to be wildlife. Your journey will end at Fort Benton, where you can partake in several museums and the charm of Montana's oldest town. The attraction here is complete isolation, with virtually no development or signs of modern life. You can easily feel the ghosts of the past as you travel a river segment that offers solitude and a connection to the past that few rivers in American can match. Float time is approximately 6.5 hours (excluding stops).

Marias River Adventure

Experience the solitude of the isolated Marias River with spectacular badlands, sandstone cliffs and thick cottonwood groves. Rich in Lewis and Clark history, and named "The River That Scolds All Others" by the Blackfeet Indians, this prairie river is another adventure for those seeking to disappear (temporarily) from civilization. Float distance is approximately 12 miles.
